Articles

The things you explain to clients every week, turned into articles people can find.

Every week you answer the same questions — cap rates, timing, financing, what a lease term really means. Answered once on your site, in your words, they keep working: each article is one more way a search engine or an AI assistant can point someone to you instead of someone else. One article takes about 10 minutes.

Where to find it

In your dashboard, open Blog in the left menu and click Add New. The Blog menu belongs to the Director's account; staff members can prepare drafts. Advisors don't carry the Blog menu — on a team site, articles are written from the Director's login.

Step by step

The builder runs in five steps — Topic → Details → Write → Picture → Check & publish.

  1. Topic. Type a sentence — a sentence is plenty — or pick from the topic chips (leasing, buying, selling, land, investing, financing, and more) and the audience chips (owners, tenants, investors, buyers, business owners). Your market is filled in for you. Nothing in mind? Click Give me 5 ideas and pick one.
  2. Details. Mostly pre-filled: who's writing it, an optional guest writer, the markets the post is about, any listings it mentions, and related posts — picked for you because they're about the same thing; remove any you don't want.
  3. Write. Add anything that would help — a voice note, a file, a link — then click Write it for me. The first draft takes about a minute. It doesn't make up facts or numbers; you'll read everything before it goes live.
  4. Picture. Every post needs one. Upload your own, or have one made for you.
  5. Check & publish. A short checklist walks you through going live. Wrong direction? Start the draft over — or Put the old one back if a previous draft was better. Nothing you write publishes until you click Publish. (Market Voice articles are different — they publish on schedule; see Market Voice.)

What you get

The moment you publish, a screen appears with the post live at its own address and two ready-to-use extras with Copy buttons beside each: a LinkedIn post and an Email teaser. It even suggests your next post idea — one click starts it. In total, eight pieces in one pass: the article, key takeaways, the LinkedIn post, the email teaser, your author byline, the search engine title and description, and a featured image.

Good to know

  • The insights section appears once three articles are published. Below that, individual articles are still live at their own links — the section page waits until there's a body of work worth showing.
  • "One good piece a month builds more authority than a burst of five." Cadence guidance, not a quota.
  • Every post carries a kind — a standard insight or a market-news piece — and the builder sets it as you work; the field is marked as set automatically. A news-flavored post carries extra fields (a summary, your take, action items, a client email alert) — see Market News for when that's the right tool.
  • Articles are drafted from your material in your voice. The assistant drafts; you approve every word.
